Ohio has many orchards. Arrowhead is just one of them. They sell many varieties of apples along with:
- honey
- apple cider
- apple butter
We do not need to buy apples from across the United States when there are an abundant supply of delicious apples within our state. There are activities at some of the orchards that are fun for the kids that includes:
- hayrides
- corn mazes
- climbing activites
- pumpkin patches
Buy local and have fun doing it.
Support your local entrepreneurs 
One of my favorite things in Ohio during the fall is picking apples. I would love a list of local businesses that I could possibly find that would have all of those things to make a day trip for! Great points.
I usually go to Rittman Orchard in Doylestown, Ohio. They do not have a corn maze, hayride, or activities, but they have a good selection of apples, apple butter, and other products made in Ohio. Arrowhead Orchards in Paris, Ohio have activities with all the apple fixings you would need. Their website is:
