There are so many vegetables and fruits grown in Stark County. The sights and smells of fall at the market are inviting. When you go to the Canton Farmers market you will see many local farmers selling their bounty of fresh fruits and vegetables. There are other products that are displayed. You can buy soap, handmade wooden products, and ceramics. With the season of fall, you can buy apple cider along with apple butter. Oh, the wonderful tastes of apple butter spread on the homemade bread that is also sold. Sometimes a farmer will share a recipe with you and let you know what you need to make it. They will have the produce you need right at their stand. I usually visit the market every weekend. If you have not been there, take some time from your schedule and visit the market. The market runs from June 22 to October 19 this year. It starts at 8:00 and closes at 11:30. Come and enjoy some of our local farmers and entrepreneurs.
